What sample sizes do you carry?
We primarily carry a size 12 sample range, along with a considered selection of curve samples. During your appointment, gowns can be clipped, shaped, or temporarily adjusted so you can accurately see fit, structure, and proportion on the body. This allows every bride to experience each gown properly, regardless of sample size.Why do bridal sizes run smaller?
Bridal sizing is based on designer-specific measurement standards, which often differ from ready-to-wear sizing. We guide you through this during your appointment so you feel clear and supported.What is split sizing?
Split sizing allows different measurements for the bust, waist, and hips. It is used when a standard size does not fit evenly across the body.Is it normal to need alterations?
Yes. Every gown is made to a standard size and then refined through alterations to achieve a precise fit.Do you offer plus-size options?

How long is an appointment?
Our Dress Discovery appointments are 1.5 hours. This allows time to explore gowns properly, without pressure or rush.How many guests can I bring?
You are welcome to bring up to three guests. We find this creates a calm, considered environment for decision-making.Can I take photos or videos during my appointment?
Yes. We encourage photos so you can reflect on your favourites after your visit.When should I start wedding dress shopping?
We recommend beginning around 8 to 12 months before your wedding. This allows time for ordering, production, and alterations.Why does an appointment cost money?
The appointment fee ensures a private, dedicated experience with focused time, preparation, and styling guidance tailored to you. -
What does made-to-order mean?
Made-to-order gowns are produced specifically for you after your order is placed. Each gown is created in your selected size and design configuration.Can I customise my gown?
Many of our designers offer limited customisation options. We guide you through what is possible with each gown and designer. Most customisation’s can be achieved in alterations.Does any designer offer full custom?
Full custom is not part of our standard offering. However, some designers allow considered modifications within their design framework.Which designers do you carry?
We work with a tightly curated selection of internationally recognised designers including Jane Hill, Anna Campbell, Trish Peng, and Elli Nicole, available exclusively in our Adelaide studio.Do you have off-the-rack gowns?
Yes. We offer a small, curated selection of off-the-rack gowns available for immediate purchase. These are ideal for shorter timelines or brides who find their gown in-store.
What about bustles?
Any gown with a train will require a bustle for your reception. Bustles are added during alterations, our Anna Campbell gowns come pre-bustled and come in several styles, such as over-bustles, French bustles, and ballroom bustles. Your seamstress will recommend the best option for your gown’s structure. -
How long does it take for a dress to arrive?
Most gowns take approximately 6 months to be produced, followed by an 8-week refinement and alterations period. -
What are your payment terms for purchasing a gown?
To confirm your gown, a 50% deposit is required at the time of purchase. This secures your order with the designer.The remaining balance is paid progressively prior to arrival and collection.
Payment can be made via bank transfer or credit card.
All prices include GST.
Payment plans can be arranged through your client portal upon request.
